POSITION : Microbiology Lab Analyst

DIVISION : Nestlé Quality Assurance Center (NQAC)

LOCATION : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

REPORTS TO: Head of NQAC Dubai

WORKING HOURS: 6 days/week. From 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (overtime as per business needs)

Major Responsibilities

This role involves teamwork and proactive cooperation in execution of day-to-day activities. Multitasking, stress management skills & flexibility are essential for this position. As part of team NQAC, the Microbiology Lab Analyst would be:

· Responsible for all microbiological analysis, as per laboratory instructions.

· Responsible for media preparation and inventory management.

· Responsible for counting/reading of results, and correctly filling the worksheets during analysis and reporting the results to the supervisor.

· Responsible for preparing the samples for retention with proper identification of analysis and disposal date.

· Responsible for maintaining the Internal Control Plan as per the described schedule of the concerned area.

· Responsible to liaise with customers in the Middle East Market, Egypt, Turkey, and the Maghreb region concerning matters related to samples and analysis request forms.

Requirements

· Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology

· Good communication skills and customer service orientation

· Good teamwork and proactive cooperation

· Capability to handle 300 samples on a daily basis

· Demonstrate high level of accuracy & attention to details

· Demonstrate high level of time management

· Great Can-Do attitude demonstrating flexibility within the team and willingness to work extended hours according to the needs of the department which includes flexibility of day-offs & Annual & Public Holidays

· Good SAP experience and Microsoft Excel program technical and functional knowledge

· Has consistently demonstrated success in a number of challenging and diverse business situations

· Well-motivated and innovative
