Job description
As Junior Strategic Buyer you are a strategic Business Partner delivering a competitive advantage and sustainable value to all the Nestlé spend. You are responsible for managing the indirect purchasing process within your area of responsibility.
Your main responsibilities:
·  You are responsible for the P2P process for indirect materials
·  You create sourcing strategies in line with our Supplier Categorisation Model
·  You execute multibidding processes for purchases related to existing strategies or for a defined spend limit
·  You select appropriate suppliers and set up a suppliers management plan
·  You ensure that suppliers deliver materials and services as required
·  Day to day claim management with suppliers
·  You ensure accurancy of procurement related transactional data
·  You ensure the agreed service level with internal stakeholders
·  You deliver sustainable cost improvement benefits
·  You measure, analyze (and manage) supplier performance to improve quality and reduce cost
·  You act as a coach and role model for other procurement colleagues (no direct reports)

We are looking for…
·  Master degree (e.g. in Business Administration, Marketing or Finance)
·  A professional with 3 to 5 years working experience as a Purchaser / Buyer (preferably Indirect Spend) in an international environment, or a Marketeer / Account Manager with a strong affinity for Procurement. You work on a strategic level or you are looking for a step up from Tactical to Strategic Buying
·  Good negotiation skills
·  Creative thinking and problem solving skills
·  Strong analytical skills and strategic insight
·  Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills, you have demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects
·  Ability to convince others and to develop networks internally and externally
·  Understand and apply TCO concept
·  Fluency in Dutch or French and a good understanding of the other language, good knowledge of English
·  Affinity with Marketing and Sales
·  SAP knowledge is a nice to have
