Core Mission:
· Contribute to the achievement of the entity's operational and strategic objectives (short, medium and long term) through the development, implementation and monitoring of HR strategy, policies, programmes, recommendations and actions in line with Galderma's global HR strategy.
· Company compliance with HR legislation (BCEA, LRA, Workplace skills Plan, Employment Equity, etc.) Involvement with BEE assessment and development plans. Corporate Social Investment initiatives and activities.
· Assist and advise on misconduct and poor performance issues
· Provide efficient and cost-effective services to line managers in the fields of recruitment, employee development, remuneration, employee relations, discipline, grievances, redundancy, equal opportunity, maintain and drive performance management system, employee counselling and advisory etc.
· Attract and retain talented employees through talent development and training programs, recruitment process etc.
Matrix (including new employee induction programme)
· Personnel administration (from selection process, recruitment and appointments)
· Accountable for the SA payroll process
· Administration and submission of WCA claims and commissioner report.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Organizational development
· Alignment of Global / International HR strategy with local Affiliate strategy
· Area / Global HR reporting
· Provide input, from an HR perspective, into the setting of company strategies and business plans with optimal organizational structure to achieve this.
· Efficient and cost-effective services to line managers in the fields of recruitment, employee development, remuneration, employee relations, discipline, grievances, redundancy, equal opportunity, maintain and drive performance management system, employee counselling and advisory etc.
· Preparation and authority for Salaries and HR budgets
· Development / maintenance of HR policies and procedures(in conjunction with the MD)
· HR alignment with BEE strategy(in conjunction with the MD)
Personnel
· Recruitment
· Overseeing outsourced payroll function
· PAYE, SDL, UIF, WCA, WSP, ATR (in conjunction with MD and CFO) EE reporting and Chairperson of the EE Forum
Contracts
· Generation of employee salary packages for new recruits
· Letters of offer
· Restraints of trade
· Reward and recognition proposals for Retention of Key Talent – Right person in the Right place at the Right time
· Development of incentive programmes
Remuneration
· Salary benchmarking and grading
· Annual preparation of company documents plus participation in Deloitte Parma Industry Benchmarking Survey

Training and Development
· Oversee full training function for organisation including developing driving and controlling the professional competencies development process
· Implementation of the companies training plan to ensure cost, quality and time objectives are met;
· Investigation and identification of most applicable local courses for staff development and training ( SETA Accredited courses)
· Maintaining the Training Schedule for the company
General
· Systems : SAP, HRIS, VIP, ESS, iLearn, EASY
· Health & Safety Management representative for Affiliate
· IT Management Representative for Affiliate
· Area HR reporting: monthly, quarterly & yearly
· OTDP preparation and maintenance
Technical Skills:
Ø Education/Training :
University degree (BS or Master) with HR or Business major
Ø Work Experience :
2 to 5 years in different HR specialist roles (Recruiter, training associate, compensation/personnel administration specialist…)
