This position is primarily responsible for providing analytical and strategic guidance to the Customer Development Teams (CDT) and day-to-day direction to the Trade Analyst team. The position will be directly responsible developing external reports to support periodic business reviews and meetings with the Customer Development team and our customers.
Major Responsibilities:
· Provide insights and analyses on NPS, TTS and customer profitability through leveraging reports from the Reporting & Analytics Team, and on occasion/as needed by developing reports that may be unique to the Wal-Mart CDT.
· Develop highly insightful reports that outline Wal-Mart CDT customer mix & impact on profitability.
· Timely Pre and Post Evaluations with ROI and key learning logs.
· Ensure procedures are in place to monitor performance of customer agreements.
· Support audit (internal or external) and post-audit (from customer) processes.
· Support continuous performance improvement by working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. CD, Finance)
· Leverage systems (such as Trade Insights) to support processes (e.g. period-end preparation, Monthly Business Planning) in an efficient manner.
· Assist CD in MOGE tracking, MBP (monthly business planning) and ICP (integrated commercial planning) processes through creation of templates, consolidation of reports and analyses, as well as managing calendar/deadlines.
· Develop standard business review materials, as needed, for monthly Wal-Mart CDT meetings.
· Participate in analytic projects for Sales Finance.
· Other ad-hoc projects and analysis, as required.
Qualifications:
· University Degree in Business or Finance is required. Recognized Accounting designation (CGA/CMA/CA) or MBA is considered an asset.
· 1-3 years of finance experience in the consumer products industry.
· Excellent proficiency in Excel including spreadsheet modeling skills and the ability to enhance processes through creative use of macros, etc.
· A self-starter, with strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
· Strong relationship builder with the ability to manage through influence and collaboration.
· Strong communication skills, including presentation of financial information.
