Factory Controller

Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Factory Controller based at our York site. You'll be rewarded with an attractive package (up to £55k depending on experience, plus up to 12% bonus and excellent wider benefits).

Our Opportunity
As a Factory Controller, you will act as a trusted Business Partner to the Factory Manager, the Factory Leadership Team and to the Confectionery division. You will be responsible for all financial matters (vision, organization, practices, initiatives/projects…) and provide fact based decision making on both short term objectives and on long term strategic initiatives. You will provide visibility and forecasts around costs related to the factory processes through the driving of relevant analysis and reporting (monitoring of the budget and controlling the variances), ensuring compliance to financial legal requirements and NAS. AS a Factory Controller, you will be an active member of the Factory Leadership team driving Continuous Improvement and factory strategy.

Key responsibilities include:
·  Cash flow and continuous improvement, identifying and driving cost improving opportunities.
·  Reporting and Analytics – managing factory reporting of forecast and actuals
·  Leading strategic financial analysis relating to major or strategic decisions
·  Driving business planning and managing the overall factory budget
·  Develop, control and ensure robust evaluations of capital investment plans and requests
·  Develop and coach factory personnel

You
You will be a qualified accountant with prior experience within a similar role, ideally in a factory or supply chain environment within FMCG.
