We're looking for a Conformance Manager on a 1 year fixed term contract, based at our Buxton factory in Derbyshire
.
You'll be rewarded with an attractive package of circa £30k per annum dependant on experience, together with an annual bonus, and pension scheme

During 2012, we've developed a state-of-the-art production facility in Buxton and we have centred there our ensuring supply operations. This is a pivotal role to lead the Health & Safety culture, not only within the factory and supply chain, also covering the Market Head Office in Rickmansworth.
Manufacturing in Nestlé is all about ensuring the consumer receives a perfect quality product, at the right time and place whilst driving losses from our business in order to maximise efficiency & productivity.
Our Opportunity
We're looking for someone to support the factory Quality department providing service to the Production departments and fostering a cross departmental culture of quality and compliance.
You'll be responsible for ensuring full conformance to food safety and quality requirements within the production unit, challenging and coaching the team in the pursuit for zero defects.
You'll support improvements in production quality indicators, be involved in auditing, coaching of operators and technicians, lead and support non-conformity investigations, driving corrective actions with a root cause mentality.
The factory is moving forward with continuous improvement principles including TPM and LEAN so it's an exciting time to be involved.
You
We expect you to have strong service orientation amongst internal stakeholders with lots of initiative and attention to detail and be someone who takes pride and responsibility in what you do.
Ideally you'll be educated in a science based subject and have experience in Quality departments within a Food / Food Producing industry, with knowledge of HACCP and quality systems.
Experience of modern manufacturing techniques such as 5S, DMAIC and TPM would be ideal though not essential but you will be looking to drive continuous improvement projects in this role.
