We have an excellent opportunity here at Cereal Partners. We are looking for an experienced Business/Sales Controller to join our senior commercial team based in Welwyn, Hertfordshire.

What can you expect?

We are looking for a Business Controller with extensive knowledge and experience of the UK retail customers. You will be used to analysing trends and changes within the grocery trade, able to build and execute sales strategies that generate long term, sustainable share value growth.

You will be a sales expert with success in leading and developing a sales team to consistently achieve sales and profit targets. Working closely with the marketing, finance and supply chain teams to create and execute robust commercial plans.

The role has a high level of autonomy and is a good lead into a Director position. You will be able to identify opportunities and recommend actions to enhance margin and grow volume. Your team of 8 Sales Managers and support staff has day-to-day responsibility for developing collaborative customer partnerships and delivering growth in both UK Grocery and Republic of Ireland.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who really understands the current retail landscape and enjoys the challenges it brings.
· You will have a record of commercial success gained from within either a branded or own label FMCG Company or a positive “can do” attitude.
· You will be used to a high level of autonomy and networking at director level to achieve results.
· Experience of leading a high-performing sales team is essential; it would be a bonus if you also have experience of leading cross-functional business teams.
· You will be a good strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and excellent numeracy skills, adept at working with complex P&Ls.
