We're looking for an Beverage Solutions Co-Pilot , based in our Gatwick offices. You'll be rewarded with an attractive salary (up to £35k basic depending on experience, plus up to 8% bonus and excellent wider benefits).

Within NP UK&I, one of our strategic growth businesses is Beverage Solutions, which is growing through the sale of Alegria and Milano Nescafé branded machines and coffee products, and also our Cold Beverage Ice Blended business. As the Beverage Solutions Finance Co-Pilot you'll be helping grow the business by working closely with the Commercial teams. This role sits within the wider NP finance function and you'll be part of a team of seven.

Our Opportunity

This is an exciting role, where you will work closely with the commercial marketing and sales teams and other support functions including the supply chain teams. You will provide the business and financial acumen necessary to achieve the financial objectives across the full P+L: topline revenue growth, customer development and effective cost management. You will evaluate customer investment opportunities and assist the Category Manager to provide strategic direction for the 3 year planning horizon. You'll also be responsible for leading projects within our Beverage Solutions businesses and wider Nestle in the Market Finance function.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Help lead the monthly business planning process providing transparency and challenge in the process to deliver improved forecast accuracy every month.
• Key player in the 3 year business plan translating business ideas into sound financial plans and sharing with key stakeholders.
• Prepare financials on customer tenders ensuring that there is a return on our investment.
• Manage the profitability of these businesses by understanding each line of the P&L and looking for efficiencies.

• Prepare financials on NPD translating the NPD into sound financial plans, ensuring that decisions are supported by a fact based decision making process.
• Coach the commercial teams in financial awareness to improve their business decision making.
• Work closely with the Trade Asset team to ensure that the machines processes have adequate controls to deliver transparency on Income and Expenses.

You

You will be a self-sufficient and results-focused individual with good analytical skills and the ability to challenge across all levels of the business. Being proactive and having the ability to challenge in order to generate business results is imperative as is having previous exposure within a commercial finance role. You will have excellent Excel skills with a real desire to get to the heart of issues. You will be able to build solid relationships quickly with your colleagues, and have the ability to work to short deadlines under pressure.
