In this unique and dynamic assignment the Assistant Marketing Manager will participate in driving accelerated growth of the Confectionery business with focus on maximizing the impact of the consumer marketing initiatives. The incumbent is accountable to assist in the development and execution of marketing plan activities that deliver maximum impact to consumers through leading specific projects and assisting the Marketing Manager on brand specific projects. The successful candidate is a creative thinker who can balance executional impact with excellent planning, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Major Responsibilities:
· Manage innovation/renovation, packaging, pricing, promotional, merchandising and distribution strategies to support brand and category plans.
· Manage all launch related initiatives and communication, including research, packaging, product development, launch presentations and information to sales.
· Complete regular performance analysis using all available research (AC Nielsen scan data, shipment data, etc.), as well as competitive analysis.
· Provide fact-based analytical information to support consumer and customer initiatives and to drive portfolio profitability and growth.
· Support the overall marketing execution strategy (including administration) as defined by the Business/Marketing Leader and Marketing Manager.
· Lead development of Brand plans and Business Reviews.
· Develop presentations, tools, sell sheets and cycle kit materials for retail sales team.
· Perform administrative responsibilities associated with brand portfolio (e.g. PIN forms).
· Responsible for budget management.
· Perform administrative responsibilities associated with the brand portfolio.
Qualifications:
· University degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
· A minimum of 2 to 3 years of marketing experience required. CPG experience is strongly preferred.
· An entrepreneurial/test & learn spirit with a passion for e-commerce digital & social media marketing is an asset
· Demonstrated strong proficiencies in marketing analysis (AC Nielsen, BW/CBR, PFME).
· The ability to leverage Nestlé processes, resources and environment.
· Self-motivated, results focused with strong analytical skills.
· Demonstrated ability in project management and handling complexity.
· Understanding of the 4P's and their application. Ability to read and understand a P&L statement.
· Must be able to effectively manage change in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
· Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and other MS applications.
