Position Summary


Creates and optimizes preventative maintenance strategies in SAP to maximize reliability of plant assets. Will leverage knowledge and skills of SAP software to forecast costs, labor and DH requirements in order to execute all of these strategies. Ensures that the preventive maintenance program is a living and evolving program that is updated and optimized at all times. This role will also be a back-up to the Purchaser and Maintenance Planner roles. This role will be a key link with all members of the technical department to assemble what is needed to best optimize our assets at a minimal cost through strong preventative maintenance managed through extensive knowledge of SAP software and a technical background.

Major Responsibilities


• Creation and optimization of PM activities for the Guelph facility to ensure compliance with Corporate Guidelines, (GFI), as well as overall fixed asset health and reliability in cooperation with the Maintenance Planner and Technical team.
• Manage adherence to the Nestle Maintenance Strategy by providing training, coaching and feedback to the technical team
• Manage key KPI's and have clear actions in place whenever deviations occur
• Support the Technical Manager with the creation and administration of budgetary, GFI, asset intensity and compliance reports
• Support the technical department by owning the technical library and implementing 5S standards to control
• Act as a backup to the MRO Purchaser and Maintenance Planner
• In cooperation with the Maintenance Planner, develop and maintain an up to date Zero Based Budget (ZBB) to support short and long term PM03 strategy for the Guelph site
• Acts as a coach and trainer to the Technical department on how to best leverage SAP as an asset to the Technical Department
• Key member of the PM Pillar and Technical Store Work Group
• Responsible for Assets and FLOC controls to ensure we have accurate records and adhere to compliance standards
• Supports the planner and purchaser with parts receiving and inventory counts for the storeroom
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma; post-secondary technical education or experience an asset
• Demonstrated initiative and a desire for continuous improvement
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to lead others and explain and teach processes
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, (particularly Excel)
• Previous SAP/AMM experience is required
• Knowledge of the Nestle Maintenance Strategy and PM Pillar Methodology is an asset
• Able to work well under pressure, constructively works through differences, enjoys team environment and striving to do better every day in a period of extensive growth and change
