NDT Consultants ltd is a leading provider of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services to clients across the World. It is active in all aspects of NDT, including inspection, Level 3 consultancy, training, examinations, product development and sale, and Research & Development (R&D). We are accredited by major NDT organisations to provide inspection, training and examination suitable for internationally recognised central and employer based certification schemes. The company has a track record of collaborative R&D projects, covering most core technologies used in NDT, such as ultrasound, acoustics, Eddy current, thermography, magnetics, etc. Its R&D team works on developing new products intended for use in NDT and is also involved in European collaborative research projects. It includes engineers, technicians and scientists in a variety of science and engineering fields. The Company has always had an extensive worldwide reach, with a number of international engineers and students working or doing their university research project.
We are seeking a dedicated graduate Electronics Engineer / Hardware Engineer to join our R&D team based in Coventry. The successful candidate will take an essential role in the design and development of electronic hardware for new products and provide support and problem solving for existing products. He will be working with the development team from initial research through to final production.
The candidate should have a Bachelor, Engineer or a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Desired profile

Skills:
The candidate is expected to have skills in Electronic hardware design, including:
Circuit Design & Construction, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Amplifiers, Comparators, VHDL, Breadbording & Soldering
Some of the dedicated software such as Simulink, Multisim, Proteus, MP Lab, Matlab…
Responsibilities include:
1: Undertaking electronic/firmware design and development activities for new products.
2: Undertaking prototype & production builds
3: Providing technical support & problem solving for existing products.
4: Producing design documentation, writing of technical reports and providing support for in-house & external evaluations.
Internship will last 6 months with the possibility of permanent recruitment.
