Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Video Streaming Coordinator will work with internal departments and external partners to create live streams of sporting events on desktop, mobile and connected devices for digital consumption.
Responsibilities
· Monitor real-time traffic and the quality live streams using digital analytic tools
· Create full event replays of streams and coordinate with the NBC Sports Edit Desk to promote streams on NBCSports.com.
· Perform quality control processes including testing on new player builds with project managers and conducting Quality Control and Quality Assurance on NBC Sports app upgrades
· Ability to work with outside vendors and internal resources such as developers, designers, editorial and advertising operations in a cross functional capacity
· Have knowledge of web, online video and mobile standards
· Ability to self-start, self-manage, meet deadlines, and learn from mistakes
· Exhibit best practices with design and usability within web, mobile and e-mail mediums

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
· BS/BA in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
· Minimum one (1) year experience working with technology frameworks such as Flash, Silverlight, HTML 5, and JavaScript
Additional Qualifications
· Comfortable with online CMS, Wikis and other task management systems
· Ability to adapt/adopt new technology and solutions easily
· Exhibit excellent organization and communication skills
