SUMMARY
The Ad Traffic Coordinator is responsible for the execution of broadcast advertising for international territories. This position ensures accurate placement of insertion orders into program logs that are compliant with customer requirements.

The position requires a sharp eye for detail and problem solving skills to manage overbooked schedules and incorrect placement of commercials (i.e. scheduled for the wrong program or time or placed next to a competitor). The traffic coordinator also acts as a liaison between the sales department and the operations department.

The Ad Traffic Coordinator is responsible for the maximization of revenue through inventory control.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
·  60 % Commercial Placement: Organize and arrange all Commercial Spots in accordance with client's instructions and based off of Priority, by using scheduling and traffic software to maximum potential. Re-work inventory to place any Unplaced Spots and preempting any that cannot be placed with the appropriate reason. Ensure that competitive advertisers are not placed back to back and that advertisers receive as fair a rotation as possible.
·  20% Ad Sales Support: Work closely with the Ad Sales team, providing weekly tracking reports for each client. Support sales with special projects and requests.
·  15% Monthly Reconciliation: Work with Finance department to perform Month End reconciliations per market prior to Invoice Runs by generating sales reports and ensure accuracy.
·  5% Commercial Material Coordinate requests and confirm receipt of commercial tapes and Digi Delivery. Communicate on an ongoing basis with Schedulers to ensure advertising and scheduling alignment.

Basic Qualifications
