Job description
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for providing the supervisory leadership, direction and resources to effectively manage retail stores, daily departmental operations and special projects in support of the theme park.
Responsibilities
Maintain and track daily, weekly and monthly sales results
Manage inventory goals by ensuring proper discount are given and clearance is marked correctly
Be familiar with daily, weekly, monthly and year-end sales goal
Ensure financial losses are minimized by maintaining internal, external and Loss Prevention compliance
Ensure daily schedule maximizes guest service and maintains operational standards
Confirm guest service compliance, including: Greeting, positive interaction and providing an efficient checkout process to maintain high GSAT scores.
Develop and maintain project labor budgets. Assist with the development of operating budgets and adjust operations as necessary to identify and control budgets, including weekly work schedules
Achieve job results through the coaching, counseling and discipline of associates; monitoring, planning and appraising job results (with assistance from Sr. Management)
Provide feedback and suggestions regarding employee training and development
Maintain training programs addressing Guest engagement, product knowledge, sales skills, store operations and safety issues
Ensure proper, Take 2, hiring and training, rehearsal, and proficiency training are maintained
Lead workforce planning, reward and recognition planning, employee events, and ESAT action planning
Ensure the stores environment is professional and demonstrates commitment to high quality standards
Maintain flawless Housekeeping and Shop-keeping standards
Communicate with Sr. Management/Visual Merchandising Team to ensure merchandise replenishment supports the product vision and integrity of unit
Execute the effective use of merchandise presentation standards to ensure optimal sales potential is reached
Provide feedback and suggestions to distributors regarding merchandise assortments and inventory levels
Ensure merchandise “clarity of offer” is prevalent and consistent to highlight and maximize sales potential; Maintain stores signage kit and standards
Share input with Sr. Management in developing the merchandise strategy of retail location
Share appropriate information with company peers to build camaraderie
Provide additional support for special events and projects, and venue supervision etc.

Qualifications/Requirements
• 2+ years of Retail management experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
• Knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and nights as required.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking/traveling to multiple venues throughout the day

• Previous experience with creating and managing sales budgets (Revenue, Cost of Goods, Labor, etc)
