Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst will be key member of our Analytics team and will provide a centralized data store with front-end reporting suite to provide actionable insights and intelligence in line with complex business data and reporting needs. They will work across business units to translate requirements into effective reporting and data visualizations that will help the business grow.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Data Analyst will contribute to the function by carrying out a range of duties that include (but are not limited to):

·  Championing a mind-set change toward standardized metrics and KPI's to build a culture of analytics and data driven decisions by acting as analytics subject matter expert for internal stakeholders throughout the business.
·  Ownership in the delivery of a centralized data store covering the business requirements with reporting and visualizations to provide business insights.
·  Acquiring knowledge of all data regulations and helping to ensure the business remains compliant with regulations.
·  Taking the lead in the evaluation, analysis, and implementation of analysis that will drive intimate insight and knowledge of market dynamics and needs.
·  Fielding and providing support for ad hoc data analysis requests and recommendations from the business.
·  Being a subject matter expert on data which is critical to the success of the business.
·  Reviewing current processes and where required updating to improve efficiency and accuracy.
·  Building relationships with stakeholder teams across the organisation to ensure their reporting requirements are fulfilled.
·  Attaining of all metrics to ensure targets are achieved.
·  Assisting in the recruitment of new staff in conjunction with the Revenue & Analytics Manager and mentoring junior members of the team.
·  Ensuring team members are motivated and delivering against all targets set.

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must have;

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in business or consumer insights, marketing analysis, and/or consumer/market research projects

• A degree level in an IT related discipline.

• They must also be able to demonstrate experience in;

- The software development lifecycle.
- The use of tools such as Tableau / SSRS / Google Analytics and the ability to write / interpret SQL.
- Data governance and data analysis.
- Working within and across a business to understand and deliver on requirements.

• They should also be able to demonstrate the ability to;

- Build and refine reports to meet business expectations.
- Understand technical concepts from a client and development point of view.
- Show excellent communication skills including the ability to deliver presentations.
- Be results orientated and focused on the delivery of accurate and reliable data.

Additional Skills and Experience that would be desirable:

• An understanding of or experience in the specific market of Golf related products/ IT solutions
