Responsibilities

NBC News is seeking an experienced Real-Time Graphics Developer to join the ArtWorks team in NYC. This is a Staff with End Date position.

Job Duties:
·  Code and test programming for in-house software programs.
·  Debug code for existing programs based on immediate needs.
·  Assist in integrating election results with our Real-Time systems.
·  Conduct end-user training upon completion of software.
·  Balance workday between multiple projects and respond immediately to tech support requests from staff.
·  Implement systems in an in-house production environment.
·  Assist the programmer with troubleshootingsystem bugs and issues.

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least three years' software development experience.
• Experience with multiple computer languages (C#, HTML, CSS, Python, JavaScript, VBScript, C++, etc.)
• HTML, CSS and C# experience required.
• Familiarity with Web server technologies like Node.js, J2EE, Apache, Nginx, ISS, etc.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, or Ember etc., or JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
