Responsibilities

Role Purpose
Lead a production team in producing international and domestic sporting events for television broadcasts in the U.S.

Responsibilities

·  Producer will work in both control room and post-production environments to create and oversee the final output of shows for broadcast.

·  Lead the direction and flow of show and communicate directly with on-air announcers, control room staff, master control, and post-production personnel.

·  Coordinate with traffic department to create show/commercial formats that flow properly with the event/competition formats.

·  Work with graphics department on requests for graphic and animation elements for each show.

·  Communicate with world feed vendors and host broadcasters to receive event and world feed broadcast information.

·  Create work schedules for your specific production team for prep and show days.

·  Write copy for on-air announcers when necessary.

·  Oversee associate producers and production assistants when they are producing shows and show elements for air.

·  Work with research department to gather information for on-air announcers.

·  Act as show AD, tape AP, and other control room positions when needed

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

·  Minimum of seven (7) years television experience

·  Minimum of two (2) years of live sports producing experience

·  Prior experience operating in control room and post production environment

·  Strong knowledge of sports with an emphasis on Olympic sports.

·  Willing to travel for remote productions.

·  Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays

·  Must be a team player

·  Must be organized and detail oriented

·  Must be willing to take constructive feedback

·  Have exceptional oral and written communication skills
