Responsibilities

Global Media Operations (GMO) is NBCUniversal's centralized team of operators responsible for building and supporting the management, preparation, and delivery of all content across NBCUniversal's global portfolio, including: Broadcast, Cable, Film, TV Everywhere, VOD, EST, and SVOD. The Global Media Operations team delivers all of NBCUniversal's content to TV screens, mobile devices, and all other viewing platforms everywhere around the world.
TheOperations Strategy Manageris responsible for oversight of strategic initiatives across Post Production within Global Media Operations. This role, in close collaboration with leadership across Post, Engineering, Technology and client stakeholders; will manage and oversee the assessment, testing and implementation of new technologies and workflows.

Responsibilities include:

·  Managing strategic projects within Post Production/O&T.

·  Leading the identification, development and deployment of technology and workflow opportunities including streamlining existing workflows.

·  Planning, evaluating, developing, and implementing programs and projects, collaborating with team members, developing measurable project goals and objectives, and monitoring progress toward achievement.

·  Manage personnel on project evaluation and implementation teams.

·  Managing complex issues lists and leading project partners through the process (engineering, brand clients and vendors)

·  Aggregating and leading the pacing and presentation of project updates, alerting appropriate leaders to potential project timeline risks

·  Coordinating schedules between stakeholders to fulfil project tasks

·  Keeping detailed records for all project step

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience in project management

·  Minimum 4 years experience in professional media production environment

·  Minimum 4 years experience working with teams

·  Minimum 2 years experience with Video/Audio Editorial, Cloud, Asset Management and Machine Learning/AI technologies.

·  Clear thinker with the ability process data in a sometimes abstract environment and prioritize competing initiatives

·  Proven ability to collaborate, engage, motivate and lead stakeholders across the entire project lifecycles.

·  Proven ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management

·  Proven ability to successfully manage priorities and deliverables to successful implementation of a new process or technology.

·  Ability to travel as projects dictate.
