Responsibilities
This position will support the Loss Prevention Department as it relates to profit protection in all applicable business ventures within USH.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct both internal and external investigations on the behalf of USH to resolution
• Follow investigative process and maintain case files per department policy
• Review exceptions reports for potential loss as it relates to cash and inventory
• Develop and maintain partnerships with Security as it pertains to job responsibilities
• Conduct CCTV surveillance and review as needed
• Develop and maintain a working relationship with Law Enforcement
• Coach and train USH personnel on Loss Prevention related programs
• Assist with the execution of loss reduction plans by partnering with all necessary departments within USH to achieve LP Department goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Wicklander-Zulawski or John E. Reid & Associates certification, CFI certification a plus
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of a 24/7 365 day operation including special events which may occur outside of scheduled operating hours
• Some travel may be required
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking/traveling to multiple venues throughout the day

Desired Characteristics
• Minimum 2 years loss prevention experience in a retail/food setting, multi-unit preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong “self-starter” with the ability to proactively identify the need for, and initiate investigations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent investigative and interpersonal skills required
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple investigations at the same time
