Responsibilities

Universal Pictures International is seeking a detail-orientatedLibrarian / Media Asset Coordinatorto join our in-house Post-Production facility at the company's head office.

Reporting to the Creative Operations Manager, the successful candidate will assist in the smooth daily operation of a very busy post-production facility. The Librarian will be working closely alongside the departments' Data Wrangler; jointly responsible for all media assets stored used within the facility in London.

Previous experience in a relevant administrative role is essential, ideally with some experience of Post-Production or media assets. A working knowledge of library archives/databases or handling large quantities of assets / data would also be preferable.

The facility services all of Universal's products, as such you'll be working on and dealing with large volumes of assets including highly sensitive material; therefore diligence, accuracy and an understanding of content security is a large part of this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Responsible for logging and tracking all physical assets, passing through the facility and in long term archive storage off site using ScheduAll software
·  Alongside the Data Wrangler - accurately log and track soft assets, spanning several tiers of active, near-line, and long-term, and LTO storage as appropriate to their stage in lifecycle
·  Responsible for the recalling of archived material / and delivery to archive as appropriate
·  Provide a first point of contact for our clients internally and externally
·  Coordination of shipping / dispatch, both nationally and internationally
·  Adhere to the studios content protection guidelines at all times, reporting any discrepancies to line manager immediately
·  Generate release of materials contracts, ensuring they are properly submitted and logged to industry standard for any pre-release content prior to delivery to any third parties
·  Provide general administrative support to the creative operations team
·  Arrange secure recycling of assets that are no longer needed
·  Source materials for archiving / final master back up
·  Requesting final deliverables, either from the Studio or third parties
·  Purchasing of stock and any other departmental related material
·  Provide deliverables information to our local acquisitions team
·  Manage Edit and QC bookings in the facility using Farmers Wife
