Responsibilities
NBC News is seeking an experienced Crash Producer to work out of 30 Rock supporting the first two hours of the TODAY Show.
Job Duties
· Produce original news content, primarily for broadcast, including research, conducting interviews, writing and editing scripts, field producing and shooting, and overseeing editing.
· Producer is expected to both pitch story ideas and work on assigned stories developed by the editorial team.
· Operate as back-up line producer.
· Work with Standards & Legal Team to ensure Editorial Standards of all segments.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field of study.
•8+ years' editorial experience working in production at the network level, preferably with morning television.
•Strong journalistic writing skills, research skills, and editorial judgment.
•Must have at least 2 years of line producing experience and be able to shoot and edit.
•High proficiency in Outlook and iNews.
