Qualifications/Requirements

Position Purpose

Reporting to the PR and Promotions Manager this relationship driven role involves liaising with personnel in Orlando and Hollywood supporting proactive and reactive publicity efforts and promotional partnerships.

The successful candidate will be expected to support a busy team of two with a variety of requirements, across the UK and European markets.

Day to day responsibilities will include: management of press kit content, overseeing the PR team's media ticket request process, analyzing PR efforts through social media, both celebrities and social influencers, overseeing the media database, assisting with evaluation and reports, coordinating travel itineraries, assisting with campaign sell-ins and pitch preparation where necessary and reviewing and research of promotional partner opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or someone looking to develop their in-house work experience whilst completing their degree – but overall with a keen interest in furthering their career in PR.

Business Experience/Education/Skill Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Digital or related field – or currently studying for a degree of associated nature
•Experience within a busy press office would be preferable
•Competent user of social media in both a personal and professional environment, as well as an understanding of the role PR plays in the social media landscape
•Excellent oral and written communications skills
•Copywriting and proof-reading skills
•Ability to meet deadlines and to work as a team player with all departments
•Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple projects
•A strong understanding of the media landscape across print and digital
•A personal interest in overseas travel
•Languages (German and French) would be beneficial, but not essential
•Experience working within the Travel/Entertainment Industry
•Creative acumen and attention to detail
•Ability to analyse and present statistical information using spreadsheets
•Due the number of international conference calls, a clear speaking voice is preferable
•This role is office based in Central London. Some overseas travel may be required therefore, a valid passport is required.
