Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager, Retail Warehouse plays an integral role in this goal by ensuring all Retail merchandise flows efficiently and accurately from the Warehouse to each Retail venue on-time and ready for our guests. This position supports all aspects of the Retail Warehouse operation including receiving, equipment, putaways, replenishment, pulling, shipping, re-pricing, safety, loss prevention, space optimization, inventory, budget management, training, scheduling, team member engagement, staff supervision and discipline.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
· Ownership of all SOPs across each department including freight coordination, receiving, equipment, pulling, shipping, night operations and all supplemental work.
· Ensures processes and procedures are compliant with company, B-192 union and legal guidelines; enforcing adherence to those expectations.
· Manages inventory control levels across the Warehouse by monitoring processes and investigating and reconciling discrepancies within WMS (JDA).
· Inspect and maintain equipment and facility; Communicate repair needs and/or requisitions for replacement to the appropriate teams.
· Secures Warehouse operations and merchandise by enforcing Loss Prevention protocol and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and exceed shrink goals.
· Promote a culture of safety through communication, training, audits and partnership with Health and Safety team. Ensure all accident investigations and safety concerns are investigated thoroughly and completed on-time.
· Achieves financial objectives by supporting in the preparation of an annual budget, managing weekly schedules to budget, managing supplies expenses and monitoring time punch variances through communication and corrective action.
· Achieve operational objectives by setting productivity targets across all departments, ensuring targets are met, conducting regular trainings, monitoring and communicating performance and following up on work results with team.
· Achieve team member satisfaction objectives through daily communication in pre-shift meetings, consistent recognition, monthly team celebration/team building events, quarterly awards and quarterly department updates.
· Consistently communicates with internal Management staff, Orlando support and peers and other USH departments, staff groups and customers.Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Responds to all work requests from outside partners in a timely manner.
· Manage team members, equipment, operators, lead, freight coordinator and supervisor staff ensuring all responsibilities are met and ensuring all assigned work is completed daily.
· Maintain attendance and behavior incident log. Responsible for communicating, following-up and holding the team accountable through corrective action on any repeat issues.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of managerial experience in Warehouse supervision.
· College degree with coursework in warehousing, logistics, supply chain management, inventory, materials management, trucking transportation are a plus, but not required.
· Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, with prior experience in Warehouse, logistics, and accurate inventory management
· Certification and knowledge of forklift operation, driver safety and general maintenance.
· Understanding of pick, pack and ship procedures
· Proficiency in Microsoft and WMS systems.
· Professional appearance and demeanor to represent the company's image

· Strong multi-tasking and organization skills. Ability to manage day-to-day work volume across multiple departments while also handling projects and other tasks.
· Guest-service oriented demeanor. Will partner with numerous outside departments.
· Effective communicator at all levels, that is clear and courteous in all circumstances.
· Ability to manage effectively under deadlines
· Strong management skills. Able to efficiently organize a large team to consistently deliver quality standards in a 24-hour operation.
