Responsibilities

NBCU has deployed SAP to run financial, logistics and HR processes.
Using SAP ECC Finance Project systems, BW, BPC and GRC; NBCU has custom developed a capital approval & tracking process. This solution requires support analyst who is capable of learning custom end to end processes and provide business support on a day to day basis.
This role will report dotted line into BPC Operations Manager and support him to deliver the on-going support & solution improvements. This role offers ample unique growth opportunities to enhance career in SAP Finance & HANA reporting and will have direct communications with senior business & technology leaders.

Exclusive List of Job Duties:

·  Learn end to end custom solution to support Capital approval & tracking process implemented on SAP Finance, BW, BPC and GRC (Secure Pro)

·  Provide customer support for Capital approval & tracking process.This requires communication with senior leaders (approvers) therefore candidate is required to possess customer satisfaction skills

·  Provide weekly/monthly statistics of business support issues and recommend which issues needs improvement for permanent resolution

·  Participate on solution roadmap for BPC projects.

·  Collaborate with peers in the Technology team to apply best practices to integratebetween SAP applications (ERP, BW, BO, Security and BPC)

·  Become the trusted voice of the Technology team with other IT groups in envisioning sessions

·  Become the trusted internal advisor for key business users

·  Assist in troubleshooting production support issues

·  Enhance expertise in the area of SAP products relevant to Enterprise Performance Management, by keeping abreast of literature, participating in webi/seminars, industry and SAP events as necessary

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements

·  Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent

·  3+ years of hands on experience in SAP finance as an analyst (either projects implementation or support)

·  BW & BPC reporting in a functional capacity

·  Demonstrate excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills

·  Possess interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of business and IT

·  Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge

·  Exhibit collaboration and teamwork skills

·  Adherence to IT/SAP project methodologies, and change control processes

·  Familiarity and comfort in working with outsourced offshore resources

·  Onsite work location – Englewood Cliffs, NJ or Los Angeles, CA

·  Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment
Desired

·  BPC EPM 10.1 HANA experience

·  Familiarity with ticketing system and HP Quality Center testing system
