Responsibilities
Role Purpose
Business Analytics & Research (BAR) is part of the Creative Content Protection organization (CCP) within the NBCUniversal Legal Department. Within CCP, the Business Analytics & Research team provides research, reporting and advanced analytics capabilities to examine online consumer behavior, global digital distribution strategies & content licensing, monetization of user generated content on YouTube, and ROI of anti-piracy enforcement.
Responsibilities
· Support the research needs of CCP inclusive of survey design & maintenance, research cataloging, process documentation, and deck building in PowerPoint
· Summarize & contextualize survey findings and third party research to identify key industry trends
· Evaluate, categorize, and store all third party research for BAR team with documentation
· Create write ups, summaries, and slide decks to inform and advise stakeholders
· Recommend changes, improvements and new analyses based on evaluation of existing slate of research projects
· Support BAR team in process documentation through internal Wiki platform
· Participate in various ad-hoc content projects

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's in business, quantitative disciplines or other social sciences
· 1-3 years of work experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Quantitative Research or other related analytical fields, with survey experience
· Experience with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint
· Experience with quantitative research (e.g. regression analysis) and qualitative research (e.g. surveys, focus groups)
· Understanding of statistical analysis techniques (e.g. hypothesis testing, experiment design, regression analysis)

· Knowledge of intellectual property, relevant technologies, and terminologies
· Active interest in global media industry
