Job description
Natoora works with producers who prioritise flavour in their growing, bringing home cooks the same fantastic tasting fruit & vegetables used by London’s top chefs. The company was founded in 2005 and works with over 300 top chefs. Our produce is also available online via Natoora.co.uk and Ocado.com.
The Marketing Manager is looking for a native English-speaking intern (or someone with proven fluency in English) to support her work.
Main tasks would include:
Marketing budget: tracking of costs
Events management: general organisation, including collateral development, supplier management, ordering of materials/ingredients, press outreach, on-site management
Events to include: trade, e.g. Restaurant Show; press, e.g. Supper Clubs, chef book launches; consumer events, e.g. Taste of London, Soho Food Feast, shop sampling events
Press: daily scans of coverage; maintaining press lists; pitching media; help writing media alerts/press releases; organising samples to be sent out
Strategy: contribution of ideas
Shop marketing: sampling; preparing recipe cards; attending demos
There may also be some other administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis. Hours are 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
As part of the internship programme, interns would also be given the opportunity to spend half days in different parts of the business, e.g. pasta production, charcuterie, retail fridge, produce management, retail shop and so forth.
There is no remuneration, but there are numerous benefits to an internship at Natoora (not to mention the fantastic experience!). Breakfast and lunch is provided every day - fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, jam, cereals and ice cream. There are always lots of leftover F&Vs to take home. Daily travel expenses within London and when travelling on behalf of the business will be covered. In addition, there is sometimes an opportunity for paid work on Saturdays in the retail shop or on the market stall.

Desired profile
Undergraduate or postgraduate degree (students in the process of completing their degrees welcome).
Marketing or business background preferred, but not required. An interest in food is also an asset.
