Job Description
Overall purpose of the role:
Assisting Sales in their daily tasks:
• Close monitoring of the activity and hit ratio.
• Monitoring product proposals, preparing marketing pitches
• Liaise with Trading, Structuring desks, Legal, MO, BO
• Assist Sales to develop knowledge of clients and their needs.
• Assists Sales to plan and organise client visit and meetings
Main responsibilities and duties of the role (indicate if any are shared, if so with which other position):
Strategy & Business Planning
• Maintain awareness of all economic and financial data and any other important factors (e.g. fiscal changes) likely to affect the client base and products being marketed.
• Assist Sales to develop knowledge of clients and their needs.
Business development and execution
• Assists Sales to plan and organize client visits and meetings.
• Help Sales to develop knowledge of clients and their needs.
• Help co-ordinate the efficient execution of transactions with trading teams. Ensure transaction execution meets client and Natixis requirements, notably about providing timely and professional pricing and ethical execution of customer flows.
• Network with contacts to identify cross selling business opportunities.
Reporting and Communication
• Ensure that information on client needs, potential business opportunities and important changes affecting clients flows freely to management, to relevant structuring teams, to other teams and to relationship managers covering the client base.
• Close monitoring of the activity and hit ratio.
Control
• Ensure clients are suitably classified (under FCA rules) and are dealt with appropriately
• Ensure clients are cleared by Credit, Legal, Compliance and Operations before trading.
• Ensure complex products are adequately reviewed by relevant control functions (risk, compliance…) and that new products are approved by the NPC before being offered to clients.
Risk
• Adhere to and understand risks to the bank and the client resulting from successful conclusion of transactions.
• Consult the credit portal and adhere to counterparty risk limits prior to executing transactions
• Report any suspected operational risk incidents (loss or gain) to the Head of department and to the Operational risk department
Legal & Regulatory Responsibilities
• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements as issued from time to time, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual, Compliance policies and procedures, Security policies & procedures; Financial Security requirements, including but not limited to the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
• Maintain and develop product knowledge. Complete all mandatory training as required to maintain competence.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
• Minimum 2:1 degree
• Strong interest in financial markets
• Previous experience in Sales & trading role
• Knowledge of Equity Derivatives
• Team orientated
• Self-motivated
• Good relationship building skills
• Able to work effectively under pressure
• Integrity and trustworthiness
• Proficiency in English
• Polish or French h
• Polish or French from an occupational requirement perspective
