The Americas platform delivers a diversified range of structured and asset financing, capital markets, and global transaction banking solutions, encompassing both vanilla and structured transactions across the spectrum of risk profiles. Our clients include institutional, corporate and local government clients in North and South America. Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking Americas has offices in New York, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Houston, Lima, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montréal, and São Paolo, and a staff of more than 600.The Americas platform devises an exhaustive range of products and services, and provides access to Natixis research. The Strategic Sectors Distribution & Portfolio Management teams look to leverage sectorial expertise gained in the financing activities to become the go-to bank for issuers and investors in four strategic sectors. Each sector team is formed of Industry Bankers, who collaborate closely with M&A and Investment Banking, and Finance Bankers bringing solutions to clients covered by Coverage and Latam & Canada. Distribution & Portfolio Management teams work closely with the sectors to distribute and actively manage assets throughout their life. A Graduate Analyst working in the Houston office of the Energy & Natural Resources sector can expect to participate in any aspect of the origination, execution and ongoing transaction management for transactions within our various business areas. Responsibilities include preparing pitch book marketing materials, assisting in deal execution, due diligence, transaction management and monitoring, screening memos, client vetting, market updates, etc. • Assist with origination activities, including preparing pitch material, market comparables, industry updates / analysis, and other duties as necessary. • Work with originators to identify new prospects, prepare a screening memo for those prospects, and prioritize based on opportunity and activity. • Track fee activity and overall commitments of the office • Ensure Nat1 deal inputs are up to date for all origination activity with a focus on timeliness and accuracy • Ensure sure all fees are appropriately reflected in Nat 1 • Coordinate and track progress on pipeline of activity between different product lines of the energy platform • Portfolio management responsibilities including annual reviews, amendments, waivers, ratings, LGDs calculations and modeling.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
• Undergraduate, Masters, or MBA degree • Preferred focus in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in a finance related role • Understanding of Nat1 • Undergraduate, Masters, or MBA degree • Preferred focus in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in a finance related role • Understanding of Nat1 • Proficiency in MS Excel and PPT required • Series 79 an d63 preferred but not required
