Job Description
Natixis is looking for a Director- level Structurer to join our U.S. CLO Banking Team in New York. CLO Banking, part of the Global Structured Credit and Solution group (GSCS), falls within the Fixed Income/Global Markets division of Investment Banking.
· Structuring and execution of new issue CLO securitization transactions.
· Working with managers, investors, lawyers, rating agencies, trustees, and accountants to carry out execution process of the transaction, including documentation, cash-flow modeling, rating agency analytics, marketing and investor analysis.
· Preparation of marketing and offering materials; analytics presented to issuers and investors.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Business or related business specialty from an accredited college/ university, advanced degree or CFA preferred
· 5-10 years of CLO structuring and execution experience
· Extensive CLO transactions execution experience: daily client interaction, legal document review, rating agencies, quantitative deal analysis/background, closing checklists, etc.
· The ability to manage multiple priorities, working under pressure to meet deadlines, and the ability to respond creatively and quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment.
· Strong analytical skills, quantitative and modeling skills, including good knowledge of CLO Rating Agency methodologies strongly preferred.
· Existing relationships with CLO managers and investors preferred.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, ability to work well in a team oriented environment.
· Technical proficiency with MS Excel modeling, PowerPoint, Intex, and Bloomberg; VBA a plus.
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
· Series 7, 79, and 63 preferred.
