Job Title: Customer Service Dispatcher

Salary: £7.16-£9.00 per hour

Contract Type: Temp Ongoing / Full time

Sector: Admin/ Customer Service

We are looking for a self motivated and driven customer service dispatcher based in Hinckley to join an expanding utility company. In return you will be rewarded a salary of £7.16phr, plus bonus, other benefits include excellent training and support for career development, 21 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays) free car parking and company pension scheme.

As a customer service dispatcher your duties will include:

  • Ability to react to changing requirements for manpower and deploy work to appropriate engineer skillset.
  • Customer management experience, provide clear concise verbal updates to customers
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints to ensure delivery of an efficient and effective service to the customer
  • Ability to prioritise customer requirements
  • Identify any operational and regulatory risks , escalating as appropriate
  • Understand and adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the Competence and Training procedures, in particular, to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly and are properly informed.

An ideal customer service dispatcher will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Keep up to date with processes and company policy
  • Understanding of what delivers great customer service.
  • Ability to build rapport with engineers and managers
  • Confidence and creditability with the ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner.
  • A proven track record of working in an evolving busy high profile operational environment.
  • This role is at the level of 'Leader of Self’, which is about self-awareness and self-management, and our individual contribution to the team.

The contracted hours are 37 hours per week and hours will be worked 5/7 days Monday-Sunday, between core business hours and unsociable hours.
