for the central division Group Audit

The Group Audit division supports the executive board in carrying out its monitoring functions. We ensure that the processes, structures, systems and activities by Munich Re comply with external and internal requirements and advise the business and central divisions and subsidiary companies in the design and documentation of internal control systems. As an auditor you’ll complement our team for all audits in the securities area (national/international), identify future challenges, and audit procedures accordingly.

YOUR JOB
·  Implementation of process-oriented tests in the securities business in all business areas of an asset manager
·  Advise the executive board and relevant departments on all audit specific issues
·  Compilation of audit reports and monitoring of the agreed measures
·  Verification of compliance with internal and external specifications, in particular the regulatory requirements
·  Participation in audit planning and in the development and maintenance of audit concepts
·  Independently prepare and conduct audits at home and abroad, leading international audit teams if required
·  Development of recommendations for improving business processes and internal control systems in the audited units

YOUR PROFILE
·  Very good degree in business administration or mathematics or equivalent qualification
·  Additional qualification in the banking business and a successfully completed CIA exam would be desirable
·  At least 3 years of experience in securities trading/settlement and fund transactions or relevant audit experience in the respective area - ideally acquired whilst working abroad
·  Knowledge of auditing structured products and in the field of private equity
·  Exceptionally strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial mindset and the conceptual ability needed to present complex information clearly in written or oral form
·  Team player, highly committed, conscientious, independent and results orientated way of working, combined with a confident manner and assertiveness
·  Very good command of English, additional languages an advantage
·  Willingness to travel home and abroad (up to 20%)
