Facilitating the deployment of Operational Excellence

We are currently looking to recruit an Operational Excellence Facilitator to join our Droitwich Dairy within our Muller Milk & Ingredients business. This person will facilitate, coache and support the delivery of Operational Excellence to optimise value creation, working within with the Muller values and standards.

Your challenge

Key responsibilities:

• Uses data for analysis and evaluation

• Data driven trouble shooting capability deployed when required

• Can demonstrated problem solving capability in high pressured environment

• Uses coaching and facilitating skills to influence positive change with the site

• Utilises Six Sigma green belt methodology to understand and improve processes

• Can deploy effectively many lean / TPM based tools and philosophies to include SMED, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, standard work deployment, RCA

• Can demonstrate excellent role modelling, coaching and supporting of local performance management system

• Drives and support the delivery of continuous improvement opportunities based of 8 wastes

• Uses JIT principles to drive out waste

Muller Responsibilities:

• Works on driving ownership of OE projects continuously

• Looks for “waste” in everything that we do

• Actively seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to active OE projects

• Supports the delivery of OE initiatives by self and others and is recognised for these

• Utilises opportunities to improve the way we do things

• Collaboratively works with other team members to improve our business

• Can demonstrate OE contribution through PDP process

• Aware of how current performance impacts the bottom line

• Health and safety of self and others

• Ability to deliver on the job training (show and tell) to new colleagues

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of delivering on CI related projects within a fast paced manufacturing environment and a passion for future thinking and effecting organisational change.
