We are currently recruiting in our Warrington IT team for a Middleware Manager. We would welcome candidates with a Seeburger, EDI, SAP PI, PO background.

Your challenge

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of an international Middleware team of experts

• Managing, leading, motivating and developing the team members

• Assessing, choosing, design and deliver high available and reliable IT solutions & services including effective user support to all relevant users and stakeholders according to SLAs, KPIs and global Group IT Governance principles representing the Business needs with regards to standard, laws, regulations and internal controls

• Lead and steer various projects ensuring delivery in scope, time and budget

• Portfolio and demand Management / Service Level Management

• Global standardization of the UTM application landscape involving all stakeholder’s necessary

• Plan and ensure the availability of internal and external resources according to make or buy decisions and budget available

• Contribute ideas and concepts to the IT strategy

• Build and maintain internal client relationships to all contact persons on different levels

• Take responsibility & risk to show the way forward / Inspire and 'be' the vision

Key skills & experience

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline

• 2 + years of management experience

• Very good communication skills in German and English with a travel-readiness of up to 35%

• Interdisciplinary, entrepreneurial thinking and action

• High social and intercultural competence

• Ability to adapt to change and lead change

• Displays resilience, determination, flexibility, openness, commitment

• Communication, interpersonal skills and self discipline

• Technical / functional knowledge & experience on

o SAP PI NW 7.4 or higher and/or Seeburger EDI BIS6 (BIS5) is mandatory

o IT skills in development methods and ITIL basics

• Experience of four or more full project life cycle implementations demonstrating that you played a key role in these implementations (e.g. deploying to a multi-site environment)
