Hygiene Operative (Night Shift)

We are currently recruiting for a Night Hygiene Operative at our Droitwich site. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can be relied upon to deliver impeccable hygiene standards in a fast paced food manufacturing environment. The right candidate will have a conscientious approach to deliver great hygiene standards whilst ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.

Your challenge

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

• Collecting soiled overalls and ensuring that employees receive clean replacement garments on a daily basis

• Keeping the working environment safe, clean and tidy and adhering to hygiene standards, procedures and the “clean as you go” policy

• Recording accurate details of laundry activities and arrange any necessary repairs are carried out on garments

• Ensuring that chemicals are handled and stored safely

• Recording accurate details of lockers and keys allocated to members of staff

Key skills & experience

• Cleaning experience in a food manufacturing environment

• A positive thinking and self-motivated individual

• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work

• Can take a hands-on approach to solving issues

*Please note this role involves working on a night shift 21:30pm – 06:00am*
