We are currently recruiting in our Commercial Team for a Customer Category Manager. This role will be office based at our Headquarters in Market Drayton, Shropshire, with some travel to our customer's base in Hertfordshire. This role will establish, retain and develop Category Management relationships with key national retailers.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement tailored merchandising solutions optimising the category opportunity for customers

• Advise customers on all elements of the marketing mix within Chilled Desserts

• Provide insight to the business regarding the promotions, product availability and price

• Drive change programmes to improve promotional efficiency

• Develop and manage systems for data collection and distribution

• Ensure that Muller are the first point of contact for category insight

• Evaluate and optimise promotional performance within specified account ensuring the retailer pursues a strategy that adds value

• Develop and implement merchandising solutions

• Maintain and sustain agenda and effective relationships

Key skills & experience

• Degree qualified in appropriate discipline or equivalent experience

• Experience of planogram systems desirable

• Retail Link/Neilson experience desirable

• Customer Category management experience essential – within Co-Op business very desirable

• Experience of fast paced FMCG manufacturing and retail desirable

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills & problem solving capability

• Strong team player

• High level of accuracy, numeracy & attention to detail

• Keen desire to support change & to drive improvement

• Flexible, resilient & challenging
