We are currently recruiting for A Distribution Depot Operative. We are looking for self-motivated individuals that are able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions in order to deliver high quality goods to our customers. The role involves working in a fast paced environment, whilst maintaining knowledge of products and processes involved in the day to day delivery of goods.

Your challenge

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

• Following directions set by the Warehouse Team Leaders and Managers

• Maintaining a continuous supply of materials to the production line

• Dispatching, scanning and processing finished goods to the customers

• Recording accurate warehouse figures required by management on a daily basis and providing these within a timely manner

• Ensuring that machinery is used appropriately and escalating any issues with equipment to the correct department

• Loading and unloading both inbound and outbound vehicles

• Checking coding to ensure the right product is delivered to the customer

Key skills & experience

• Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable

• A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills

• A positive thinking and self-motivated individual

• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work

• Can take a hands-on approach to solving issues

The role is working 5/7 shifts per week including weekends. Candidates need to be flexible to cover the following shift patterns 06.00am-14.30pm, 14.00pm-22.30pm and 22.00pm-06.30am. Shifts will be discussed in more detail at interview.
