We have a great opportunity for a Technical Analyst (Quality Auditor) to join the Technical team at our manufacturing site at Farmers Boy - Bradford.

Working hours are 48 per week on days and shifts will vary depending on business requirements.

Reporting to the Technical Team Manager, you will: monitor, control and audit the production process from the food safety and quality point of view; ensuring that conformity and non-conformity are communicated, followed up and closed off.

Farmers Boy Greenside began production in 1980 and moved to a state of the art building in 1999. We are one of the biggest Fresh Food Factories in the UK with 6 operations under one roof. We employ over 1500 people at site operating 24 hours a day 7 days a week across 44 production lines

Here at Morrisons our Technical Analysts do the following;

· Ensure the Sites Legal Status as a Supplier of a Major Retailer
· Audit Process and Procedures applying corrective Action where non-conformance is found
· Investigating Food Safety Incidences applying Route Cause Analysis
· Support the Site Management Team during External Accreditation such as BRC and the Morrisons Manufacturing Standard
· Ensure the day to day Site Technical Function is achieved
· Verification and Validation of the sites HACCP Plan
· Support Production during the launch of New Product Lines
· Organaleptic Auditing of products to ensure compliance to the Quality Attribute Standards
· Trend analysis, identifying the where to apply Corrective Action

What skills and qualifications do I need to be a successful Quality Auditor?

· A keen eye for detail and the confidence to challenge
· Proactive and ‘Can Do’ attitude
· Team player
· Effective communicator
· Food Experience in a Technical or Similar/relevant role
· HACCP Qualification ( Ideal but not essential )
· Food Safety Qualification ( Ideal but not essential )
