We have a great opportunity for a Scheduler to join our Gadbrook fresh produce site in Cheshire . The successful Scheduler will be responsible for planning and scheduling workflow.
Reporting the Site Production Manager you will plan for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing rates and lead times to ensure common site goal is achieved.
This is a diverse position, leading the planning and scheduling of workflow function. This function will be the focal point of operations, creating operations scheduling plans with end to end planning of raw materials and equipment from point of tentative arrival to scheduled delivery.
Gadbrook manufacturing is Morrisons only purpose built 'dual' manufacturing facility able to manufacture both fruit and vegetables under one roof. We produce over 120 million packs of fruit and 75,000 tonnes of root vegetables and 12,000 tonnes of carrots a year. Employing over 500 colleagues and delivering to 76 Morrisons’ stores.
What will I do?
· Lead a team of colleagues to achieve excellent standards in scheduling
· Ensure all colleagues are fully aware of production status and that work planning and execution objectives are integrated, communicated and deliverable
· Create an environment to ensure we monitor, analyse and report on performance in a timely manner
· Weekly review of promotion schedule ensuring it is achievable and all required materials/system updates are available at start of promotion launch
· Ensure the team skills are maintained so that all requirements and system knowledge is up to date
