Day Shift (06:00 to 18:00) Rotating 4 on 4 off shift pattern

We are looking seeking to appoint a MHE Fitter to be based at our distribution centre in Sittingbourne. The Vehicle Maintenance Unit (VMU) is a state of the art facility which services, repairs and maintains the Morrisons fleet which consists of 236 trailers and 90 tractor units as well as other MHE equipment.

Working as part of a team you will be delivering the highest levels of quality and productivity. Reporting to the VMU Team Manager, the MHE Fitter will be responsible for:

• Carrying out MHE repairs and maintenance using a range of specialised skills, plant and equipment, meeting established standards.
• Up to date technical engineering knowledge and ability to use computerised diagnostics equipment.
• Strong electrical fault finding skills.
• Maintaining the standard of the Linde equipment on site.

Background:

• City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in LGV or equivalent (Essential).

• Experience of MHE and HGV maintenance and repair.
