We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for an HR Applications (PeopleSoft) Technology Analyst to join the Information Technology team at Hilmore House, Bradford. Reporting to the Application Development Manager, you will be an expert authority within IT and the business on the Functional and/or technical design of enterprise wide, bespoke and 3 rd party software applications and services across the organisation.

Here at Morrisons our HR Applications (PeopleSoft) Technology Analyst does the following;

• Consult with the Heads of IT/Solution Architects to understand how to appraise business requirements, ensuring solutions architecture and design meets the functional, non-functional and service needs of the business.

• Provides instruction, training, and expert guidance to team members on all aspects of existing and new application design & build techniques, best practice strategies, and technologies.

• Facilitates and assures the agreement and embedding of team improvements around working practices, methodology or quality.

• Shows a strong ability to work successfully in a cross functional, multi-vendor team.

• Provides expert-level consultation for the design and development of enterprise solutions.

• Directs application development standards. Participates in the creation and maintenance of application architecture governance and standards documentation.

• Responsible for design assessment and code reviews. Ensures continual high quality, timely and standardised solutions.

• Facilitates the transformation from logical to physical design and implementation.

What skills and qualifications do I need to be a successful HR Applications (PeopleSoft) Technology Analyst?

• Experience of PeopleSoft HCM applications

• Knowledge of industry standard application architecture and solution design & configuration.

• Ability to formally document, communicate and gain buy in for all aspects of the solution requirements and proposal.

• Exhibits a high energy, strategic thinking, results oriented, and a collaborative approach with highly tuned listening and communication skills.

• Experience of directing functional and/or technical solution analysis, design, implementation, and support
