We are currently recruiting for Part Time Housekeeping Assistants t o join our team on a working flexible hours Monday to Saturday. You will be required to clean all internal areas of the Head Office building, as well as some external areas such as pathways, smoke shelter and bins. You will be working as part of a team of 20+ Housekeeping Assistants where team work and hard work is essential as this is a busy and demanding role

Working in our purpose built Head Office - Hilmore House in Bradford, West Yorkshire, the Facilities team comprises of 6 sub departments and is a busy team of circa 100 people offering 5 star customer service to 2,300 colleagues and visitors who use the building on a daily basis. The Front of House team comprises of a team of 13 team members.

What will I do?

• You will be responsible for making sure that all areas of the cleaning operation are completed and that where possible techniques are improved and supported
• You will need to building successful relationships with our internal customers (Head Office colleagues) is vital
• You will be supplied with all the tools and basic cleaning equipment that ensure you can do your job to highest best standard, and will be responsible for the safe storage and use of cleaning materials. From a health and safety aspect, it will be part of your role to make sure that the implementation of health and safety procedures are carried out properly and that they comply and conform to the Company’s safe working practices
• You will be measured on your performance by the standard and quality of cleaning, productivity and pace that you produce.

What skills and qualifications do I need?

The person who gets the job will ideally:
• Work flexibly across all of Head Office, and be reliable and attentive to your quality of work.
• Have some prior experience of cleaning and housekeeping will be useful, as well as having the ability to undertake work involving manual handling and lifting and responsibility to work alone.
