ENGINEER APPRENTICESHIPS (MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE) - MORRISONS MANUFACTURING SITES - £COMPETITIVE + EXCELLENT BENEFITS

We are currently recruiting Engineer Apprentices for our manufacturing operation in Thrapston. Morrisons is much, much more than a big food retailer. We're also the UK's second largest fresh food manufacturer and it's the job of our engineering team to keep things running efficiently behind the scenes. Morrisons Produce acquired Thrapston in 2004 and added the purpose built distribution warehouse the following year. The site has a three shift operation, with over 800 colleagues. There are 137 products including Melon, Citrus Fruit, Leeks, Tomatoes, Apples and Nuts. 185 million packs of fruits and 27 million packs of nuts are produced each year.

Lasting 4 years, our Apprenticeship programme is the ideal springboard for an exciting career in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing. Offering a unique combination of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering maintenance alongside food safety, compliance and processing.

Training will be provided by Midland Group Training Services at Reaseheath College in Cheshire; one of the UK's leading land based colleges.

To apply you'll need to be aged 16+ and have achieved or be predicted a GCSE Level 6 (Grade B) in Maths, Level 5 (Grade C) in Science and Level 5 (Grade C) in English.
