ENGINEER APPRENTICESHIPS (MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE) - MORRISONS MANUFACTURING SITES - COMPETITIVE + EXCELLENT BENEFITS

We are currently recruiting Engineer Apprentices for our manufacturing operation in Flaxby. Flaxby - is a vegetable pack house of 116,000 sq ft on 17 acres of land. There are 150 colleagues employed on site who produce 9,155 tonnes of onions, 49,732 of potatoes a year and 11,555 tonnes of carrots which they deliver direct to 64 stores.

Morrisons is much, much more than a big food retailer. We're also the UK's second largest fresh food manufacturer and it's the job of our engineering team to keep things running efficiently behind the scenes. This is a great place to develop your technical skills and learn to become a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

You'll get right into the action in a paid job while we support you in obtaining a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance

Lasting 4 years, our Apprenticeship programme is the ideal springboard for an exciting career in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing. Offering a unique combination of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering maintenance alongside food safety, compliance and processing.

Training will be provided by Midland Group Training Services at Reaseheath College in Cheshire; one of the UK's leading land based colleges.

To apply you'll need to be aged 16+ and have achieved or be predicted a GCSE Level 6 (Grade B) in Maths, Level 5 (Grade C) in Science and Level 5 (Grade C) in English.
