Morgan Stanley Investment Research is uniquely committed to being an essential part of our clients' investment process. Brief
Based in London, the position is a qualified NYSE Series 16 Supervisory Analyst (SA) to review a wide variety of research reports published out of the Japan/Pacific region.
• Work as a Japanese Editor/Supervisory Analyst (SA) of the Japan Research Publishing team which is located in Tokyo, London and New York.
• Report to Co-Managing Editor for Japan Research in Tokyo.
• Review and publish Japan Research reports/Global Research reports in Japanese to be compliant with SA rules.
• The SA must edit reports to balance regulatory and business policies with a clear, commercial message.
• Have a sound understanding of financial analysis and be capable of ensuring consistency between underlying arguments, financial model, and investment conclusion.
• With strong attention to detail, the SA has to work calmly under time pressure and be able to meet hard deadlines.
• Build strong relationships with analysts and peers across time zones, becoming involved at the draft stage for some publications, advising on structure and clarity, and attending review meetings with research management.

• Be able to edit Equity, Macro and Fixed Income Research in Japanese quickly and accurately
• Supervisory Analyst (NYSE Series 16)
• Fluent in English and Japanese
• Proficient in IT applications
• Familiarity with Japanese companies and markets
• A strong commercial sense and good interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written skills.
