Department Profile:
Enterprise Infrastructure is that global technology group that delivers the software and hardware technology solutions that make our businesses run. The team manages the production, operations, and engineering of our data centers, voice and data networking solutions, wireless technologies, server and database operations, desktops, servers and mainframes. Apply, examine, support and troubleshoot a global network including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Using tools and automation to proactively monitor and assure latency compliance and quickly respond to any issues.
· Independently validate and report any potential issues, including latency, packet drops, or any other condition that could negatively impact the low latency environment as well as all other monitored networks.
· Successfully receive technical escalations and independently provide solutions to resolve high impacting network incidents. Expertly conduct root-cause analysis for major problems and drive the troubleshooting to resolution.
· Properly create comprehensive network change execution documentation, including configuration files, diagrams, and change request forms.
· Execute implementation tasks successfully within a very wide scope of networking technologies.

Skills Required:
· A deep understanding of all the facets of LAN and WAN Network Technologies for various platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Blade Networks, WAAS etc.
· Ability to work with Project Managers to develop the execution and test plans for the network changes on a weekly basis.
· Participate in the weekly design meetings and actively engage with various engineering teams to review the infrastructure.
· Actively participate in the weekly Change Advisory Board meetings to explain their changes and answer any questions from the change board. Ideal candidate should act as an escalation point for all the Level 2 Deployment Engineers and also to roll out the production changes over the weekends as per guidelines from a Project manager.
· Good analytical and problem solving skills. Must be able to troubleshoot and provide a day to day Level 3 operational support as a part of Global Network Operations Center (NOC). It will be a big plus if a person has proficiency and expertise in Unix, Automation and various NMS tools.
Review and analyzing of packet capture using Wireshark will be a huge plus. Must be able to prioritize and execute various Network changes without causing any negative impact to the production environments.
· Must be highly fluent with MS Office (word, excel, visio and power point)
Skills Desired:
· Previous experience with a Financial or large scale organization will be a plus but not mandatory
