The Delta One structured products desk within the Equity division provides synthetic Equity exposure to clients via Equity Swaps and other derivatives; along with identifying and executing financing arbitrage opportunities.

There are many, varied and ever changing reasons why synthetic exposure may be preferable for a client compared to traditional equity. This creates a complex and dynamic environment where the ability to quickly provide a product tailored to the client's needs is key.

This hybrid Desk Technologist / Strategist role sits on the trading desk, working closely with traders, marketers and the team to evolve new structures. The position will entail providing tools for analysis, developing highly customized client solutions and new business opportunities.

This diverse role will also expose the successful candidate to all aspects of the business (trading, risk management, P&L , client service). Focus is on technical skills and desire to build light weight bespoke solutions.

The position is ideally suited to a candidate with a strong developer / coding background looking to move closer to the business. The successful candidate will need to be self-disciplined and commercial to manage the competing demands on their time and deliver value. Experience in any of following areas would be advantageous.

Technical: C#, Java, KDB/KSQL, Excel VBA, SQL (Sybase/DB2), Perl
Business: Equities, Prime Brokerage, Derivatives, Swaps, Financing
