Department Profile

The Credit Flow and Structured Product Group (SPG) strats team support London corporate bond, CDS and ABS bond trading desk by building and maintaining pricing and risk models, deal specific structuring, opportunity scanners, trading algorithms and data analysis on products and performance. The group works closely with other quant teams, risk management teams and technology teams to maintain and further develop the pricing and risk model, resolve regulatory issues and develop trading software for automatic, electronic and manual trading.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data analysis for pricing, risk management and opportunity scanning for traders and sales, assist with pricing and risk models for structured credit and corporate credit and assist with the development and implementations of a bond trading algorithm.

Desired profile

Skills required (essential)

- Strong quantitative skills in probability, stochastic calculus, PDE, numeric method (Ph.D. or MS in maths or physics)
- Understanding of structured credit or corporate credit products
- Experience of front office work environment. Can work under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with Java or Scala or similar programming language

Skills preferred

- Experience in other market and products: FX, credit or Equity
