Title: C++ Developer within Automated Market Making team

Position Description

We are looking for truly exceptional talent with experience of writing trading systems that communicate with European exchanges.
The team is responsible for providing continuous electronic markets for listed options on numerous exchanges. AMM trades tens of thousands of individual options using a team of software developers, traders, quants, and system administrators.

The options AMM developer will perform the following tasks:
• Implement, test and monitor new trading strategies.
• Analyze the performance of the trading system and make improvements where required.
• Implement exchange connections to European markets and adapt the existing AMM software to local requirements.
• Investigate the most efficient methods of interacting with the exchange.
• Work together with traders on new requirements and extensions to the algo-strategies
• Work together with other developers and strategists in New York, and local traders, quants in London.
• Act as second level support to debug production problems and maintain the European system.

Desired profile

• Recent experience in the development and support of algorithmic trading strategies.
• Strong programming skills in C++ on Linux, experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl)
• Knowledge of low level x86 programming concepts and low latency techniques
• Strong quantitative and analytical background
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with traders and strategists
