THE COMPANY:
Our client, a well-established and market leading Investment Management firm are looking to recruit a hard-working and articulate Team Secretary. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Secretary or Assistant to take the next step in their career. The purpose of this role is to provide efficient and seamless assistance to a sociable team of 6-8 Investment Managers/Directors.
THE ROLE:
- Coordinating and booking meetings – this includes venue organisation and ordering relevant refreshments.
- Answering phones and taking relevant messages, dealing with enquiries wherever possible and fielding calls where appropriate.
- Preparing reports, correspondence, Mail Merges and other relevant documentation.
- Generating client correspondence – Email, letters ect.
- Preparing valuations and PowerPoint presentations for client meetings.
- Dealing with administration of client accounts, e.g. requesting and making payments, account opening ect.
- Maintaining the filing system.
THE PERSON:
- Educated to a high standard – Ideally Graduate calibre or A-Level qualified minimum.
- Experience within financial services is essential.
- A proactive attitude to take responsibility for team support to ensure the others can complete their work without undue interruptions.
- A polite and courteous attitude at all times.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and to react appropriately to changing work conditions.
- Uses initiative to think ahead and pre-empt potential problems.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- To work the hours required to fulfil the role with a flexible approach and willingness to work longer hours as necessary.
- Experience in the financial sector.
