Job Description
As part of Manufacturing, you’ll use your skills, our systems and a wide array of raw materials to help create the delicious finished products our consumers love. While taking ownership in your area of work, you’ll also ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues while producing our top-quality products reliably and efficiently within our integrated supply chain.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this position will coordinate, implement and maintain the Mondelēz Quality Chain Management System (QCMS), Sanitation and HACCP programs utilizing Quality Maintenance Pillar (IL6S or TPM) work processes to develop and ensure compliance to regulatory, federal and local laws and maintain a word-class Quality System.
The Quality Supervisor will coordinate, execute and maintain all aspects of the HACCP plan and QCMS (plant relevant Quality Policies) in conjunction with Quality Manager, quality/sanitation teams and other plant teams including:
· Actively engage in planning, defining, and directing the site auditing control program to ensure compliance to all procedures and policies, GMP standards, Mondelez requirements, and regulatory, federal, and local laws.
· Train, mentor, and lead site QA and Production team to insure program goals are met. Strong support to site QCMS/ISO program owners. Monitor and maintain plant QCMS program by complying with current Mondelez and International Audit (FSSC/ISO) standards.
· Support Hold/Release documentation and dispositioning of products.
· Responsible for maintaining, validation, and continuous improvement of all laboratory testing and equipment.
· Facilitate plant sanitation. Coach and audit production leaders and employees on sanitation practices.
· Manage and direct site sanitation crew to ensure facility cleaning is completed and crew works safely. Actively supervise crew to coach their learning, grow their capabilities, and hold them accountable.
· Maintain facility cleaning database and chemical inventory to ensure cleaning routes stay on track. Create plans to continuously drive improvement and mitigate any gaps.
· Supports annual verification of all HACCP plans or when required due to project changes.
· Ensure all specifications/KPI/QCMS/FSSC/ISO plans are maintained and updated/approved as required. Co-lead plant bi-annual validations.
· Manage glass and brittle plastic program.
· Support and follow proper plant safety policies and procedures.
Desired profile
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field
· 1+ years experience in Quality Systems management (i.e. QCMS, HACCP, SQF, BRC, FSSC, ISO)
· Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with strong leadership and experience managing teams.
· Successful individual will be results driven, possess strong problem solving, decision making and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate others.
· Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
· Flexible to work on any shift (afternoon/midnight/weekends) based on business needs, this role will likely be on 2 nd shift.
